The potato soup is amazing and it was some of the best bbq I've ever had. The prices are very reasonable. From the outside it doesn't look impressive but it is definitely worth stopping.

I would describe this place as a local version of Applebee's which is a good thing! Every time I have eaten here I have been pleased. Love the salmon Caesar and the steak tips are amazing. Priced reasonably and you get comfortably full. Nice atmosphere inside as well. Can athens get more local restaurants that are good like this?

Not What I Expected . . . In a GOOD Way. My boyfriend and I ate dinner at Michael's after a day of touring the Mayfield's Dairy Farm and a winery in the area. We didn't know quite what to expect when we pulled up, but after going inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the quaint decorations and homey feel. We got to sit at a nice booth and our waitress got our drinks right away. I was so excited to see spuds on the menu, so I got the BBQ Pulled Pork Spud, which was a baked potato filled with tender pulled pork, bacon, cheese, and a tangy BBQ sauce. It was great! My boyfriend had the Philly Cheesesteak and he really enjoyed it as well. I tasted it and the peppers tasted so fresh! I recommend for everyone to stop by Michael's, because you'll be in for a pleasant surprise!
